SOLLR
Privacy
Sollr shows you the shape of your attention. That only works if you can trust it with your sky. Here is exactly what we store, and what we never see.
What we store
- Your account email and sign-in credentials, managed by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Your sky's data — the people, habits, and dates you add, and your activity history — synced through Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so it follows you across devices.
- If you request an invitation on this site: the email address and optional note you submit.
Signals stay on your device
On Android, Sollr can notice that a meeting has ended with someone in your sky and let it restore their orbit. It needs two things, both yours to give: Calendar access from Android, and Sollr's own Signal Detection switch turned on — with either one off, nothing is read. The scan runs in the background, on your device. It reads shape, never content — that a meeting ended and who was listed on it, not what was discussed. Sollr does not read the calendar on iPhone.
Sollr can also read activity you have already recorded — workouts, sleep and mindfulness sessions from Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iPhone — and mark the habits you have linked to them. That needs the Health switch in Sollr's Settings and the health grant from your device, alongside the same Signal Detection switch. It reads the kind of activity and when it ended, never measurements, vitals or health details.
Signals are always opt-in, they become orbital mechanics, and every one can be undone.
What we cannot read
A memory you leave, and the notes and contact details you import, are sealed on your device before they sync. In the iPhone, Android and Mac apps the key that opens them is made once and kept in the platform keystore — Android Keystore, iOS and macOS Keychain. In a browser there is no keystore to put it in, so it is held in the browser's own storage for this site, where any script the page loads can reach it; the apps are the stronger place to keep it. Either way, the key never leaves your device unwrapped. That cuts both ways: we cannot open your writing for you either — no backup, no restore, no support path. A recovery passphrase carries your memories to a new device when none of your old ones are at hand; without one, they stay sealed to everyone, including us.
The rest of your sky — a body's name, its orbit, its dates — syncs in plain form so it can follow you across devices.
What we never do
- No ads.
- No selling of data — to anyone, ever.
- No engagement tricks. Sollr is best when it is quiet.
Deleting your data
